Some Things We Did On The First Week Of School

We began creating our teams for our class competition.  The kids created their own logos and team names to use for the next 6 weeks.  They did a fantastic job!

We also took our math inventory test so that I get to know a little about what areas in math the kids need to work on the most.

I got to know a lot about them through a 4 square activity in which they created 3 truths and 1 lie about themselves to share with each other.  The people in their group had to detect which one was not true.  You sure have some interesting kids!!!  LOL

I am looking forward to moving into doing some math and learning social studies along with them!

Overall...we had a great week!
