Today in math class, we went back to the basics. We worked on simple multiplication facts through a minute math drill. My goal for all of them is that they can complete 70 questions correctly in 2 minutes. About 1/2 of them have already done it, and most of them are in the 60s. I had one person in each class that was able to get done with all 100 and have them all correct! Way to go!!!
We also went back to multiplying greater numbers without a decimal. The kids really enjoyed this refresher and were able to alleviate some pressure and some stress. I was glad to see all of their smiles again.
